Talk with God

“The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.” - John 10:3-4

Jesus, the good shepherd, is with you right now. Quiet your heart and abide, make yourself at home, in his presence.

The Good Shepherd will seek out the lost sheep. Consider those who may not recognize Jesus’ voice, those you are called to. Picture them before Shepherd Jesus. How are they responding?
Pray for them, that the Father would open their hearts. How might you ‘ask whatever you wish’ on their behalf?
Imagine what Jesus is doing as he walks among them. What Bible story or verse comes to mind?
Pray for them along those lines.

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” – John 16:13

Ask the Holy Spirit what he wants to say to you. Listen for a word or a phrase. If you get "distracted", ask if he's speaking through your thoughts.

Ask Jesus what he wants you to do, if he didn't already tell you.
Resolve to obey. Surrender yourself into his will and forsake everything the enemy will throw at you to keep you from this.
